Monthly Roundup: Sep 2024

Monthly Roundup: Sep 2024

In September we welcomed most familiar migrants back to our shores, but most of the action this month was concentrated offshore, with seabird migration through our waters in full swing.

Highlights

  • Blue Rock Thrush at Kusu Island
  • Five Gull-billed Terns at various sites on passage
  • Swinhoe’s Storm Petrels on migration through the Singapore Strait throughout the month
  • A flyby Red-footed Booby at Pasir Ris Beach
