Monthly Roundup: May 2023

Many birders in Singapore will remember the two flocks of Pied Stilt from this month, appearing almost at the same time, and even landing themselves a spot in the news!

Highlights

  • Pied Stilts appearing at both Yishun Dam and Marina East Drive, marking the first and second records for the main island
  • Ashy Drongo of the rare nigrescens race, at Chek Jawa
